This work is out of 2 parts of cast glass. My idea behind this work is the open wound and the slice that got torn out of it. The two pieces lying next to each other should give the impression that you could move the slice back into the open wound to heal it, but it can’t be moved back, so it never will heal again it will remain separated forever. The slice will always be gone from the initial piece. I polished the surface of the casting, which creates the effect of a lens and gives you a clear view to the inside, this should give someone the sense of that with time passing by you it can be clearly seen that the missing part is not coming back.
